Everton welcome the Gunners
In matchday 2 of the new Skybet League Two season Everton host Arsenal at Goodison Park with manager "Pep" Guardiola relishing taking on Darlington Dave and the Gunners. Everton are without talisman striker Romelu Lukaku who is suspended, so Yannick Bolasie will take his place and lead the Toffees attacking option. Manager "Pep" was hinting on midfield changes but seems to have gone with the same line-up as matchday 1 where the team were unlucky to lose to Leicester City in a thrilling 6-5 defeat.
Everton´s defense will need to tighten up as Arsenal possess a very potent strikeforce and powerful midfield, Mori is likely to keep his place at the back after a good performance along with Ashley Williams, Seamus Coleman and Phil Jagielka. The club are making plans moving forward, and have just started work on the Academy to meet with the new league rules on Academies and development procedures. Manager "Pep" has stated he wants to make Everton one of the best clubs in Europe.
ETV is waiting on any transfer news, although we have learned that the club have tabled an £8.5 million to Manchester United to bring Marouane Felliani back to Goodison Park.

EVERTON ON POOR RUN
After a good start to the season Everton have been struggling of late and with two successive defeats the latest a 3-1 home defeat to Manchester City, manager "Pep" Guardiola slammed his team and kept them locked in the dressing room after the game and we understand many words were spoken and much shouting coming from "Pep" and his backroom staff. The strikers have failed to back up top scorer Romelu Lukaku who has 4 goals in 6 games, with only 2 goals provided from the other 4 strikers and the manager demanding more goals there time at Goodison Park could be numbered.
The Toffees midfield has been playing well and with good youngsters in Besic, Davies and Dowell the manager may look towards a more midfield based formation and passing game to try and turn things around in the results. Robles needs to improve his keeping, the club have good defenders and now "Pep" needs to work his magic and turn around the results if Everton are to have a good season, we understand the club are chasing several targets but no leaked information on who maybe joining the club.
Off the field the Academy is continuing with new constructions and working towards gaining Category 4 status, and developing facilities around Goodison Park to grow the club and attract Europes top players.

EVERTON TURMOIL
Last night Everton put on a disappointing show, although they matched visitors Swansea City on the pitch they could find the goals and succumbed to a heavy 4-1 defeat with many fans leaving Goodison midway through the second half. Thats now 4 defeats in 5 matches and only 4 points from 18 points which is sure to be worrying for club officials and the chairman and with many fans booing at the final whistle the pressure is really on "Pep" Guardiola to turn things around fast. The season started so well but over the last 6 matches only 1 win has come with several heavy defeats, it was difficult with No 1 keeper Robles out injured and clearly showed the lack of depth in goal for the Toffees. But also the midfield were not clinical last night and letting Lukaku leave has not gone down well with the fans, and many are demanding on social media that the club bring in several big name players as they feel most of the current squad is not good enough.
This morning rumours are that if Everton suffer another heavy defeat on Friday night that could be the end for "Pep", meanwhile we understand the club are looking across Europe for players to bring into the club quickly and try to change things around. All eyes will be on the training ground tomorrow and on Friday night to see if "Pep" can work his magic and get the Toffees back to winning ways.
