Good win today 4-2 over Wycombe Wanderers at Fratton Park in front of 16,262 fans. Goals from Burgess, Roberts, Chaplin and Baker got us the points and still playing with the 4-2-3-1 formation. Were up to 2nd place now in league two and unbeaten in last 4 matches and we need to keep this run going.

Pompey 5 - 1 Barnet
Yes, back to our best and scoring goals, a goal in there form our young rising star Conor Chaplin. BOunced back well after last weeks poor 1-0 defeat at Acrrington, this moves is into 2nd place, we controlled possession and cameback well from being 1-0 down. We need to build on this Roberts again had a good match in midfield.

Pompey 1 - 2 Doncaster Rovers
Very disappointed we lost at Fratton Park to promotion rivals Doncaster. We start the game really slow not like we usually play, Carl Baker got our goal just before halftime but we could not get the equaliser. NOt a good day.

Plymouth Argyle 2 - 2 Portsmouth
Our best performance of the season against the league leaders, came back from 1-0 down to go 2-1 only for Plymouth to score right at the end of the match just like in the playoffs last season. We played really well and sends out a warning to the league that were ready for promotion this season.

Portsmouth 1 - 2 Notts County
In front of 17,000 at Fratton Park, poor result we dominated the game and got with a sucker punch late on. Conor Chaplin scored his 4th goal of the season but we really should have taken all 3 points. Were still 5th put 11 pts behind leaders Plymouth Argyle.

Cambridge United 0 - 1 POMPEY
Good away win, we were down to 10 mins for the last 30 minutes. Our young striker sensation Conor Chaplin scored his 5th goal of the season to take the points.

Mickey Mouse Trophy
Portsmouth 1 - 0 Bristol Rovers
Good performance from us against League One Rovers, matched them all the way created plenty of shots on goal. Kai Naismith popped up with the 88th minute winner. Very good result for us.

Chelteham Town 1 - 1 Portsmouth
Disappointing draw, and 82nd minute equaliser from sub M Smith, but looking at match stats we shaded possession and had 11 shots to 1 on target and should have won the game. We need to convert these draws into wins if we want promotion this time around.

Luton Town 1 - 3 POMPEY
A good performance and long coming last night, Michael Smith, Gareth Evans and Kal Naismith the scorers. Good comeback after going 1-0 down and moves us up to 4th only two points of the automatic promotion places. Need to build on this now and show our strength in the Division, we should be going up this season.

Portsmouth 1 - 2 Stevenage
Very disappointing defeat after playing so well in midweek beating Luton Town, Pompey just failed to show up in front of over 16,000 at home. We need to stop putting these sub standard performances or another season will be wrecked.

Very crucial games coming up over Xmas and New Year for Pompey, we need to take maximum points to keep in with a chance of automatic promotion this season. Recently we had a hard fought 1-0 win over Grimsby Town and disappointing 0-0 draw with Hartlepool United last saturday.
27th Dec - Away Newport County should be 3pts 30th Dec - Away Yeovil Town should be 3pts 2nd Jan - Home Luton Town (4th v 5th) were at home so we should win and need to win this match.
Next match coming up 2nd place Doncaster Rovers

Newport County 2 - 3 POMPEY
Good comeback for us today from 2-0 down, but we should not have been losing to bottom place Newport. Goals from Danny Rose, Enda Stevens and Kai Naismith with Naismith missing a penalty when he blasted over the bar. Judging from our play second half we should have scored more.
With Carlisle being held we only 5pts behind automatic promotion, and next up away at 5th play Luton Town.

Portsmouth 1 - 0 Luton Town
Good and important win over 5th place Luton now only 4 points behind 3rd place Carlisle United. Burgess go the important goal and much better performance form 0-0 draw last time out.

Pompey´s up and down season continues after Wednesday night 3-1 defeat at leaders Doncaster Rovers, we played very poorly and not show our potential. Still feel Paul Cook is not right manager for us, we need someone who can really take us back up to League One been stuck in League Two for too long now.
