WHAT A DAY AT ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB
Its true you never know what to expect in football and what a 24 hours for "Glenn Hoddle", after feeling devastated and not being able to keep Leeds United in the Football League this evening he sits proudly as manager of Arsenal Football Club. One of the biggest jobs in management guiding the Gunners, the day started out at the Emirates with pockets of fans chanting they wanted former manager "Darlington Dave" out of the club after only leading them to a 6th place finish and no trophy, no european football next season. The former manager did step down and arrive at Goodison Park to take over Everton, meanwhile Arsenal started looking for a replacement and approached the former Leeds boss who accepted a 2 year conract at the Emirates.
The new boss met the backroom staff who are likely to change and the players at the Emirates Stadium, we think the manager will likely bring in his own backroom staff possible from Leeds United. He has already moved and signed two of his Leeds players, in young 21 year old keeper M Hassen and hotshot striker Chris Wood, both will be joining the Gunners this week. The new boss will most likely want to stamp his mark, and with so many big egos and under performing players at the club, changes are expected as Arsenal look to rebuild ready for next season.

ARSENAL NEW-LOOK TAKES SHAPE
New manager "Glenn Hoddle" has wasted no time in starting to build his new look team for next season, we understand he looking to build a team around a new look 5-2-1-2 formation and has already been in the transfer market over the last few days.
Out:- Mesut Ozil the German playmaker has been given a shock transfer and has agreed terms to join newly promoted Portsmouth for a fee of £20 million Goalkeeper D Ospina and defender M Debuchy have both agreed terms to move across London to West Ham for a fee of £30 million Midfielder I Gueye will be joining Leicester City as part of a swap deal.
In:- Hotshot Striker Chris Wood will be joining from relegated Leeds United along with young Keeper M Hassen for a fee £30 million. Chris Wood is a good scorer and a real threat in attack, Hassen is a good young developing keeper.
Will Hughes and Wilfrid Bony join from Manchester City for a fee £37.5 million Hughes is a good young attacking midfielder highly regarded, Bony is a good physical striker and will be a good partner for Chris Wood.
Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain and midfielder C Marchisio join the club for £28 million. Higuain is one of Europe's top strikers and shows Arsenal's intent landing the goal machine, Marchisio will provide good attacking play in the Arsenal midfield and Italy midfield.
Leicester Right Back Danny Drinkwater has agreed terms as part of the swap deal with Gueye going to Leicester. Drinkwater is a good pacey on the ball full back and will slot well into the wingback role in the 5-2-1-2 formation.
Net Profit/Loss Spend: - £45,500,000
We understand the Gunners have their eyes on more targets, with 3 powerful strikers now on the team its clear the manager will be looking at strengthening defense and midfield.

ARSENAL START PRE SEASON
With new players arriving into the Gunners, manager "Glenn Hoddle" has called the team in early for pre season training and working on formations and tactics. New players Hassen, Hughes, Marchisio, Bony, Higuain and Wood all reported for training this morning meeting up with new teamates. There was an excited buzz at the training ground when Gonzalo Higuain arrived, noted as one of Europe´s top strikers Arsenal fans were scrambling to get a view and autograph from the striker. Many of the Arsenal players still have their futures uncertain with no contracts as the manager decides who will feature in his new look team for the season ahead and the club are looking to make a league title challenge and qualify for Europe next season.
The training session was a light affair, working on fitness, passing drills, and fun team building exercises conducted by the backroom staff as the manager was away trying to sign more players to the club and offload players.
The club are also working on ground developments and facilities and working hard towards start of the season.

ARSENAL SET FOR LEAGUE TITLE CHALLENGE
We are on the eve of the new Football season and there will be much excitement around the clubs and grounds, and much excitement and positive feelings around the Emirates for a good season. Chairman Sir Chips Keswick have given full support to manager "Glenn Hoddle" and believes Hoddle can take the club to glory and back at the top of English Football after many years not winning the big competitions. The squad has been training hard, pre season went well and the players seem happy, focused and ready for the opening fixture against rivals Chelsea on Monday night.
Several players are still due to leave the club, there are no injuries or suspensions and only couple of players need to up their fitness levels for the start of season. Gonzalo Higuain is likely to feature as the main striker, but the club are currently in talks with Barcelona about signing the Brazilian ace Neymar and with Juventus regarding P Dybala. So their could still yet be more transfer activity, striker Iwobi is set to leave with a deal agreed. We expect Arsenal to line-up with either a 3-5-1-1 formation or a 4-2-2-2 formation which the gaffer has been working hard on in recent weeks. Pre Season saw the 3-5-1-1 used, but the gaffer may surprise everyone for Chelsea game and go with two in attack. If he uses the 4-2-2-2 formation with wingbacks we expect:-
GK M Hassen DFR DFC DFC DFL H Bellerin Wallace Gabriel N Monreal
MFC MFC G Xhaka W Hughes
AMC AMC D Payet F Coquelin
FWC FWC G Higuain W Bony
The Gunners fans will be out in full force at the Emirates Stadium.
