UNITED EXPECTING TOUGH SEASON
Manchester United manager Azboy has stated this week he expects the new look Skybet League One to be a very tough season with several clubs fighting for the League Title, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester city seen as the main threats to United. The Old Trafford officials are expecting that United should be in the top four and qualifying for the International Cup and playing attractive exciting football for the fans. The manager has made changes already by transfer listing Bastien Schweinsteiger, Maroune Felliani, Jesse Lingaard and Anthony Martial which has come as shock to the players and some fans baffled by them being made available to leave the club. Obviously the manager has a plan on his line-up and does see these players fitting into his plans.
The club are working on several transfer deals with no news reaching MUTV as yet, but we will report any news as we receive it, the club have stated they wish to develop Old Trafford into the best Football ground in Europe and will be making lots of investment in facilities to make that happen and take the club forward. United have won little silverware over the last several seasons so the new manager has a big job on his hands to put United back to the top of English Football and European Football.

UNITED COMFORTABLE START
Manchester United made a comfortable start to the new Skybet League One season with a 3-0 win over Southampton at Old Trafford, United never really looked in any danger. The team lined up with a new look 3-5-2 formation and suited the passing style that manager Azboy wants to play, Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick were instrumental in midfield both defensively and with thei passing skills. Luke Shaw got on the scoresheet and took the Man of the Match award with a solid performance in the new look back three, Zlatan Imbrahimovic showed his class scoring two goals.
United were comfortable on the ball with their passing game and manager Azboy was delighted at the final whistle, although most games wont be this easy its a great start for the Red Devils and sets out their message to title rivals.

UNITED MAKE MOVES IN TRANSFER MARKET
Today MUTV can report news coming from Old Trafford that the club has made moves in the transfer market, approaching Swansea City with an undisclosed offer for defender J Amat, manager Azboy sees the 24 year old Spaniard as a good acquisition for the United defense. United have tabled two offers to rivals Chelsea for midfield playmaker Eden Hazard with both offers being rejected, will the club go back with a higher offer?
Bitter City rivals Manchester City have also been contacted with regards to midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, but again United´s bid has been rejected by City. We understand the manager is making a shortlist of players and has hinted that several players could be leaving with the club with Schweinsteiger, Lingarrd, Felliani, Herera, Martial and Valencia all look like leaving Old Trafford.

THEATRE OF NIGHTMARE
Manchester United have had such a poor run of form and leaking goals, but no one expected events of last night. United were totally outplayed by Swansea City in a 7-1 thrashing which saw United 5-0 down at halftime to a chorus of boos from traveling away fans who started leaving the Liberty Stadium at halftime.
United never looked liked getting in the match, Pogba, Kukaku were signalled out as not putting in any real effort on the pitch. This morning United released this statement:-
"We can confirm that manager Azboy has stepped down as manager, we hoped he would stay, but he felt the players were not supporting his ideas and style of play. Results have shown things were not going well. We would like to thank Azboy for his work at the club and we will now be making a shortlist of managers who we would like to bring to the club."

FOOTBALLS A FUNNY OLD GAME
No truer a statement as tonight Manchester United named their new manager as Harry Redknapp the former Portsmouth manager. United have 3rd time lucky poached Redknapp to Old Trafford, the club have had an awful season starting poorly and the manager Azboy walking out on the club and the results have continued to be mixed which continued with Friday´s 1-0 home defeat to league leaders Leicester City. Now the new boss will need to get the club sorted quickly as unbelieveably they are only 5 points from relegation after such a bad season, so the ship needs steadying and confidence gained by the players and make Old Trafford the ground teams fear to play at in the league. We have learnt that after talking with the United Board of Directors and the owners the Glazers, manager Redknapp has put the whole team up for sale and notified all players that none of them are guaranteed football or to stay at the club. This has come as a shock to the players and club officials, as backroom staff may also be released as the new manager will be set to bring in his own team to work with behind the scenes.
We are expecting more developments over next 24 hours, we understand that deals have been offered to Bayern Munich and Barcelona, but no details on those offers have been leaked as yet.

NEW LOOK UNITED STARTS WELL
New United boss "Harry Redknapp" set out his team last night in the League Cup and the team cameback well with a 5-1 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday. United lined up with a new look 3-4-1-2 formation H_Mkhitaryan playing behind a front two of Antoine Griezmann and Marcus Rashord and it played dividends with 2 goals from Mkhitaryan, a goal for Rashford and Pogba and young Mensah also in the scoresheet. United´s midfield play well, passed the ball around and seemed a different team in the new look formation with many of the regulars dropped from the starting lineup, Redknapp was very pleased at full times as were the travelling fans.
This morning the club welcomed several new players, Vincent Kompany arrived from rivals Manchester City with Darmian going across to City in the deal, Juan Mata left back to his native Spain and Real Madrid with Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez arriving at Old Trafford. Riyadh Mahrez arrived from leaders Leicester City which looks like the boss is overhauling United´s midfield. Romelu Lukaku went to Leicester in the deal, Mangala comes into defense on a 15 million deal, and up front Dutch striker Bas Dost arrived in a 15 million deal. More transfers are expected this week, as the manager overhauls the squad.

UNITED SET TO SPEND BIG
Manchester United manager "Harry Redknapp" stated this morning that to get the team where he wants a massive clearout and spending will need to happen:- "Now I have time to assess the team, and with my plans for a new look formation that we have been testing out on the training ground I believe we will need to spend around £200 million to bring in the quality that we need."
"This will also mean that most of the current first team will be leaving as they do not feature in my plans, David De Gea, Henrik Mkhitaryan, James Rodriguez, Riyadh Mahrez and Antoine Griezmann will be staying at the club."
Its clear that the United boss wants to really shake up the club from the foundations, and is currently contacting several clubs and scouring Europe for possible targets. The club are also investing heavily in updating Old Trafford and bring the Academy to first class to attract the world top young players and work towards entering the U21s Premier League next season. This season the club are hoping that they can mount a last run at qualifying for Europe.

United are very likely to be playing in Europe next season, they currently lay 4th in the table after dropping down to 9th place at one point after a disasterous mid season dip in form. We understand several more deals are being negotiated currently as Redknapp looks to build his new look team.

MANCHESTER UNITED LIFT THE F.A CUP
Manchester United fans were joyful and triumphant on Monday night as the club lifted the Skybet F.A Cup with a 2-0 win over Chelsea at Wembley Stadium. Although not one of United´s better performances the club did enough to win with goals from Aubumeyang and Valencia got the job done and the players celebrated with manager "Harry Redknapp" holding the FA Cup and parading in front of the United fans. Their were good performances on the pitch from Gary Medel who got the Man of the Match Award, young Mensah, James Rodriguez and Henrik Mkhitaryan shows United´s powerful midfield play. Everyone at the club was delighted and after what started as a poor season, since Redknapp has arrived has transformed into lifting the FA Cup, Runners up in the League Cup, qualifying for Europe and currently 3rd in the Skybet League One with two league match to play. The club has rebuilt the team under Redknapp, and looking forward to next season and will be one of the favourites for the Skybet League One title and lifting the Champions Cup.
In the MOTD League Cup Final, some United players looked jaded and the team never got going as Leicester City romped to a 4-1 lead, United did fighback to level at 4-4 and take the game into extra time. But Leicester spoiled United´s attempt at the Cup double by scoring two Extra time goals from Romelu Lukaku who was at United for a short spell this season and Wes Morgan to deny the Reds and give Leicester the League Cup.
But after the poor first half of the season, many at the club were more than delighted with the change around and Redknapp´s influence on the club and the FA Cup triumph.

UNITED REPORT
The new league season now underway and Manchester United seem to be undergoing a transition as results have not been quite what the fans and club were expecting with the club laying in 6 place in the Skybet League One with only 2 wins from 4 games including a 2-1 home defeat by Derby County which angered many fans. Manager "Harry Redknapp" has launched a new look formation which the players seem to be finding hard to settle into looking at results and performances and only 4 goals in 4 league matches.
The Champions Cup started well with the 3-0 win over Chelsea in Group A, which the manager has stated his desire to lift the Champions Cup, but the league title is also a target and the team need to be playing better football. Several players have made views known they are unhappy with the 3-1-1-4-1 formation or swap to two strikers, on the training ground there has been some disruption as the manager tries to settle his new look team.
The good news for the club is that they are only 2 points of the top at this early stage of the season, but fans will be worried that last season the club started poorly and were never in the title challenge and will not want to see that happening for a second season. Zlatan Imbrahimovic is leading the way with 6 goals, as the 36 year old striker continues to astound everyone with his performances, Mkhitaryan, Gotze and Fabinho have played well in midfield and all three players into double figures for key passing. James Rodriguez has been a revelation in midfield with his passing skills and playing centrally and out wide, at the back United´s defense has not looked solid and the manager having a headache selecting his best 3 defenders.
Not real panic at the club but things will need to start improving soon if United are to dominate the English game.
