Always enjoyed non league football and having recently moved to manchester been checking out non league football.
New Years day went to Broadhurst Park to watch FC United of Manchester (club started by the fans opposed to Manchester United when Glazers took over), nice little stadium they play in the Vanaram League North. Saw a good 1-1 draw with bottom place Altrincham. FC started well going 1-0 after just 5 mins, both teams had a player sent off on halftime, must admit the referee was bloody awful but was good game. Paid to join the club as one of the Fans based Co-Owners, nice to say I am a co-owner of a football club.
Have been following FC United for a few season now, like the set-up and developments at this fans owned club, and all decisions made by fans (co-owners) voting.
Next want to see Salford City (watched the programme on BBC1) owned by Giggs, Scholes, Neville´s and Butt.
Something about non league football (hmmm... could we run a non league ESMS game? Would there be any interest?)

Like the idea of fans owning clubs, stop people taking over clubs and then ruining clubs.
Non League game that would be interesting?

How bout using a non-league game like you mention as a feeder to League one or a non playable League Two starting out, say two clubs promoted but must meet certain criteria:-
1. Say stadium must be certain size 2. Minimum Facilities 3. Must have certain cash balance etc...
Just starting some ideas... Would love to play with Eastleigh FC.

That was something along the lines I was thinking, if this comes into game their would criteria to be met to be accepted into MOTD Football League.
Still working on ideas etc...
Can managers create the next Jamie Vardy, Charlie Austin go from non league to Premier League football could be a good challenge.
Stadiums:- All clubs would start on same just on stand capacity 500 all non league clubs will then have to develop facilities.
Facilities and Costs will be completely different list to that used in higher leagues.
Targets will reward clubs with cash boost (ie 6 wins in a row, reaching particular round of competition etc...) give managers chances to really develop clubs and performances.
Non League clubs will start with roster of players as per club (ie. FC United of Manchester would have players at real life club)
Club will be able to choose Shirt Sponsor, Advertising Boards sponsors (if they have advertising boards) and Main Sponsor
