Gents, as you may all be aware MOTD PBEM is currently using version 2.73 of the ESMS program. This was necessary to enable player positions to include sides. This version has a few drawbacks however, the main one being that there is not a version of TSM* for it. While it is still possible to create teamsheets by hand (indeed necessary unless you want to rely on TSC*) this is much more time consuming and more prone to error (the advantage of running the games is I can fix my own errors without anyone else knowing).
As there is an obvious drop-off in turn submissions I would like your opinions on the merits of going to a newer version of esms to make turn submissions easier by being able to use TSM. This would mean the loss of sides though.
Any other suggestions or comments are also welcome (even if you are generally just checking in on things occasionally and not actively sheeting each round).
* TSM - the teamsheet maker that enables easy teamsheet creation including conditions and checking of rosters to avoid errors for those that don't know * TSC - teamsheet creator - creates very basic teamsheets, without any conditional, and doesn't permit non standard tactics (such as S which MOTD uses)

As I'm used to make teamsheets by hand, I'd prefer to keep the sides option.
